Fur is so not "green". In fact in England, Denmark, Holland, Italy, and Finland they actually made it illegal to advertise fur as "eco-friendly" because it's totally untrue.
The chemicals used to treat fur are so toxic that people living near those tanneries are getting cancer. Fur farms are also producing so much toxins from the concentrated feces of the animals.
I hate how these giant industries are allowed to form bogus "non-profit" organizations like the Fur Council in order to market their products. I think that should be illegal.
